Lee and Pearl argued all afternoon in the Petero Bar. Accroding to witnesses, Pearl wanted to spend the $30 she got from Dave's Loans and make a payment to get her dog out of the pound. But Lee wanted to spend it drinking.

Lee explained it to Pearl, first, "the dog is dead!, it's been over a month since you was at the pond." weren't going to have any school age kids for a long time. Lee talked Pearl into one more T and T, Tecate and Tequila, and they spent the rest of the afternoon drinking.

Later that evening all drunk Lee shoved Pearl though a window.
