Banks warn of new force measures

The Banking Association said that next week they would conduct actions that would affect the public's attention if the business chambers still do not comply with the agreed wages.

The bankers' association warned that it can enforce force measures that affect the public's attention in financial institutions next week. The reason is that the Chamber of Commerce does not abide by the final joint agreement, which envisages an increase of 12%.

The union warned after a failure to hold a meeting in the Ministry of Production with representatives of this portfolio, the Central Bank and ABAPPRA.

"Representatives of the ABAPPRA Chamber and the Central Bank have insisted on a proposal that is incompatible with the IPC. It is unacceptable that these entities plan to increase only 5% by October, when other subjects agreed 12%," they said in a statement.
