Red Hot Chili Peppers will announce the party after the 2019 Superloop Adelaide 500.
The appearance on Sunday, March 3, was confirmed as part of the band's newest Australian tour.
Securing the only performance of the Adelaide group is an incentive for the competition, which is the opening of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
"We are delighted to have received one of the biggest bands in the world in Adelaide in March," said David Ridgvai, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Investment.

Playing his first Australian title tour in 12 years, Red Hot Chili Peppers will bring its unique sound and high-performance performance at Street Adelaide Parklands to its fans of all ages.
The band has been encouraged to have a long-awaited return to Australia and Adelaide for the first time since 2013.
"We love Australia and we can not wait to see all of our fans in Adelaide when we drop the curtain to Superloop Adelaide 500," they said.
Peppers – who released their debut album 34 years ago – are one of the most successful acts in the history of rock, which often performs in front of stadiums and audience audiences over 100,000.
The Superloop Adelaide 500 organizers will release new pieces, including Friday and Saturday night of the concert line, in the lead of the event.
