Today, metallers 'trade unions and employers' representatives want to continue their collective negotiations after five weeks of negotiations that have failed to lead to convergence on key points.
For three days the unions have given companies a warning strike of the taste of what threatens them if they do not give them – then it should be a "real" strike on Monday, the last eight hours.
The unions continue to insist on a five percent increase in salary and want substantial concessions to compensate for new labor rules. Employers offer an increase of 2.7 percent.
