Tesla, an electric car maker, announced that Robin Denholm, currently the chief financial director of Telstra, will replace Ilona Muska as president of the company, reports Reuters.
Denholm will leave the position of chief financial director and strategic director Telstra after the completion of the six-month notice, Tesla said.
Tesla also stated that Denholm will work as her regular chairman.
She will temporarily take over the role of Chairman of the Audit Commission in Tesla while leaving Telstra, the company said.
Tesla went through a few tough months after Mousk announced tweets, saying that he had the "necessary funds" to make the company again. Mssk and Tesla reached an agreement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission in September after the agency filed a false information lawsuit.
The agreement required Tesla and Musk to pay a $ 20 million fine.
