Unique VIDEO: Range Rover Sport for the first time without driver in intensive traffic – BLITZ

British Range Journei Range Rover Sport completed its first autonomous tour on some of the most demanding roads in the UK, writes Monitor. The Range Rover Sport prototype encountered the heavy Co-op Ring Road, successfully replacing the tape, coupled with the remaining traffic and leaving the couplings at a maximum speed of 60 km / h.

The test was part of a 20 million-pound government-sponsored UK Autodrive project that ended after a three-year program. Land Rover engineers performed significant tests on autonomous loop technology before they switched to a public road in Milton Keines and Coventry.

The new Range Rover Sport has been chosen for its dynamism and performance as an adaptive autopilot, but has been modified to include additional navigation sensors, radar and more. Related to UK Autodrive study projects.
