The first game at Zion Villiamson in Madison Square Garden was an expected affair on Thursday evening, and the 18-year-old left New York thinking of how he would do it to his NBA home.
"Playing 41 games here will not be that bad," Villiamson told reporters.
Zion Villiamson at Knicks: I think this is a RJ team. RJ, will you play for Niksy? If they draw me, I'd like to play for Ninja. I do not care where I'm going. Just the experience of being in the NBA, whoever wants me and whoever sees me most, is where I want to be pic.tvitter.com/HHIlKLlKK1

Zion focussed at the end of the fourth quarter, finishing with 17 points and 13 rebounds in 25 minutes, helping Duke lead by Tekas Tech 69-58.
Per ESPN:
"Forty-one games in the Gardens, I think, would probably be incredible," she said after helping Duke return to win the Tekas Hold at 69:58.
And given that New York Knicks are among the worst NBA teams this season, Villiamson – like his fellow RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish – might be available to be chosen to play their games in MSG next season.
"This is a garden," said Williamson. "It's so great to come here. My favorite great to come here is probably Bernard King, because my father told him a lot about how he just put the ball in a hive … I had to look at his accents, he could take a basketball. He was incredible how he did it.
