It goes at least backwards as Bob Clark's proto-slasher film from 1974 Black Christmas, horror films and holidays enjoyed a special relationship. Although there may be six wars in Silent Night, Deadli Night For years, the Christmas Horror Film was a special treat, which maybe once or twice a year.
Thanks to the relative commercial and critical success of recent films such as Michael Dougherti's Krampus, Chris Peckover & # 39; s Better Vatch Out and anthology A Christmas Horror Story, horror horror films are more popular than ever, especially among low-budget filmmakers who can enter the famous Christmas demon to attract extra, seasonal attention. Self-consciousness extreme Slai Belles opens dubstep to Christmas music, and retains the same tone of your face. Barry BostvickRocki Horror Picture Shovplays the rebellious version of Santa Claus, but before it appears, the movie is spent half an hour on Adventurous Girls, the trio of IouTuber cosmos whose latest urban research project has been abandoned by a theme park called SantaLand.
It turned out that Santa really lives there, but also Krampus, and the girls have to join with the Santa Christmas partner ("You fucking shit", tells them when they arrive) to capture the star for a vacation. The director and co-writer SpookiDan Valker has a cheeky sense of humor (adventurous girls use cute wands and chick nuns to fight with Krampus, in addition to their female cunning) and he uses the reasonable use of some surprisingly solid effects of the creature. Unfortunately, Boston's exuberance can not make up for the rest of the boring characters.
The ultimate death: Broken in half by Krampus.

Christmas is the perfect time of year for … Blumhouse Truth or Dare? Even some characters in Elves are critical to how much this film resembles another horror film with a much better budget. "This sounds like this movie Truth or Dare, except with Snapchat filters, "says one of the young people who were targets of death by an evil puppet. Indeed, the idea of a group of friends who are cursed during a drunken party game (in this case, which includes an "invalid list") is extremely similar, and Elves even copies Truth or DareSigned twisted smile and eavesdropped views of characters who are obsessed with a malicious game ("watching all the elves," as one character says).
Action – poorly linked to 2017 is somewhat less terrible Elf – it does not make sense, with multiple seemingly unrelated criminals and productive value at the level of a high school project (there are more cases in which actors accidentally push the camera). The elf has a bad connection with Christmas, but director Jamaal Burden holds a holiday in the background at any time, using decorations to deliver eloquent messages to the elf, in a mildly creepy touch of the film.
The ultimate death: Satisfied with Christmas lights.

Ugli Sveater Parti
Problems with Aaron Mentom Ugli Sveater Parti can be summed up by the fact that in this film there are almost no real sweaters. The action depends on the ugly Christmas sweater that is obsessed with the spirit of the serial killer, but this so-called sweater is obviously a hooded shirt. Mento invests his skills in the ever-increasing escalation of the Troma style, instead of planning or even consistency of the scene. The main character Jodi (Hunter Johnson) is introduced to wipe his pubic hair through a dirty toilet, and the film goes to the top, better or worse, from there.
Jodi and his friend Cliff (Charles Chudabala) were invited to an ugly party for a Christmas sweater in a remote village that turned out to be a Bible camp full of angry sinners who did not try hard to repent. Cliff takes possession of a homemade sweater, and is soon on its way to becoming a monster known as Sveaterface. There are several successful jokes ("Whats a sweater?", Jodi says, "Blood", responds to Hanna, a resident of the camp camp), but Ment's humor is generally vulgar and rude as possible, and a ghastly visual style with its torrents CGI blood, makes for a Christmas horor film only for strong will.

All the creatures were mixing
This year's best Christmas horror movie, All the creatures were mixing is an anthology of five stories from the husband and wife of the writer and director David Ian McKendry and Rebecca McKendry. There are so-called entries; and take it Christmas songs does not offer anything new, and a story about the revenge of the deer-style rooms that never goes anywhere. A smart sequence of framing, in which a group of theater troupes "performs" each segment (together with rudimentary props), is ridiculous but anti-climatic.

The final segment is at least awesome and most reminiscent of Twilight Zone, and that's the best, with Konstanz Vu as a woman who discovers that her friend spends every Christmas when it is abducted by aliens who want only a little tourist company. It's spooky, inventive, and unexpectedly sharp, with a great performance of Vua, which is unlikely to appear in random horoscopes for a long time.

The opening covers of the Norwegian slasher movie Christmas Blood claiming that a central, unnamed serial killer, dressed as Santa Claus and leaving three bells on each scene of the murder, killed 121 people for 13 years, making him one of the most prolific serial killers of all time. For no reason, when he fled after five years in detention, the police had only one detective on the case – they survived. This detective goes to a distant northern city, where a group of girls has become the last target of a killer (as well as many evil ones from Christmas, he works with a bad list).
The film by screenwriter and director Reinert Kiel divides his tone between a major Scandinavian crime drama and terrible horror, as a cross between The Snovman i Silent Night, Deadli Night. He even imitates one of them The SnovmanIconic funny moment, with the severed head of the victim at the top of the snowmen (here, Kiel himself is an unfortunate local policeman). Santa Claus who keeps a tree – a police dossier just calls him "Juleblod", or Christmas Blood – is a threatening antagonist, but potential victims are interchangeable idiots, and the clumsy and blurry picture of the movie often makes it difficult to say what is happening. Fortunately, there are several powerful cases of dark humor, as when police discover that putting murder is making a Christmas tree pattern on the map.
The ultimate death: They were hacked and put in Santa-sack.

From the creators of the two previous, low-budget, Krampus horror films (2015 Krampus: Reckoning and 2016 Krampus Unleashed) it's coming Krampus Origins, an alleged tale of how the Christmas demon came. It seems that Crampus of Arizona, where he appeared in 1918 in a Catholic orphanage. A US military squad on the Western Front in the First World War encounters a magic book and an amulet that can be used to invoke the Krampus, and when soldiers are killed, mystical artifacts are returned to the widow of a soldier who seems to be the only teacher in this orphanage with a suspicious lack staff.
More than a drama in a slower period than the movie horror, Origin has very little violence or uncertainty, and does not mention the word "Crampus" until it is halfway. Setting up a low-budget movie in the past is always a risk, and the film's authors mostly rely on vintage war posters and an old car to sell their period (also dressing almost every male character in their shoulders). When Krampus finally appears, he is rarely in the same frame as any of the actors, and his lips do not even move as he speaks in a voice that sounds like Peter Cullen's Optimus Prime. This is said, sometimes you just have to watch the movie Krampus.
