BC Ferries cancels the main route due to strong winds

BC Ferries has announced a service notice to its customers, indicating that it has canceled sailing from Tsavvassen to Svartz Bay due to adverse weather conditions.

Queen Nevzmaster will not approve the boat sailor on December 22 due to strong winds.

From 11:35 h, cancellation affects the following routes:

12:00 leaving Vancouver (Tsavvassen)
14:00 Departure from Vancouver Island (Svartz Bay)
16:00 departure from Vancouver (Tsavvassen)
18:00 departure off Vancouver Island (Svartz Bay)

This is the fourth time this week that strong winds forced the service to cancel navigation.
