Collin Delia has 35 saves while Blackhawks defeated Avalanche

DENVER – Collins Delie's first start against Colorado was forgotten. He made his second against the avalanche unforgettable.

Delia made 35 saves in their first NHL start of the season, and Chicago Blackhawks defeated Avalanche 2-1 on Friday night for the third consecutive victory.

On Monday from Rockford's AHL after Corey Cravford got the earthquake, 24-year-old Delia began her third career. In his previous start, he handed five goals at the end of last season to the loss of Avalanche.

"Probably a little revenge," Delia said. "I did not have the best time out last time, so I did everything in my power to get ready to be ready for this game."

Alec DeBrincat and Artem Anisimov stabbed Chicago. Blackhawks visited their two-week trip.

"It seems that we did not have so much juice in the legs," said Chicago coach Jeremy Colliton. "It was a fight all night, it seemed to me to be uphill, but we admitted to our guys that they found a way to survive, and we had some timely savings.

J.T. Compher scored for Colorado, and Philipp Grubauer stopped 26 shots.

Colin Wilson left the game early when he fell to Andreas Martinsen and landed on his left shoulder. Wilson helped and did not return because of the injury of the upper body.

Later in the first period, Blakex's defense counsel Samuel Girard collapsed on the board after completing Jonathan Toevs. He bounced from the ice and went to the dressing room.

Coach Avalanche Jared Bednar said Girard should be fine, but Wilson will miss for a while.

"I would say it's from Sunday to Sunday, not from day to day," Bednar said.

Grubauer on Wednesday had 35 saves against Montreal and made some key savings in the second period to keep the relationship. He stopped Anisimov a great chance early in that period, and then stopped Dylan Sikuru after he bounced back from the board to the center.

The goalkeeper gave up the recovery at the start of the third period, and Chicago capitalized. Grubauer made the starting station on Patrick Kane's shot, but it flared up and Anisimov defeated him at 1:19.

"It was the one I would like to have back," Grubauer said. "One awesome goal cost us games."

Delia was sure that the management cost 11 savings in the third period and received little help from posts. Colorado scored three in the game, including one from Compher in the third period.

"Obviously, you want to get lucky, but you will make your fortune," Delia said. "You fight, you work hard and you think you deserve those rejections. On the way you will not ask why he was out of the net, we are only happy with these two points."

Chicago struck first when Dominik Kahun stepped out of the box after serving juveniles for too many men and got Connor Murphy's pack in a neutral zone. He went to DeBrincat, whose shootout went through the Grubauer blocker and at 8: 07h. It was his 16th in the season.

Avalanche tied him when Alekander Kerfoot sent a bekhend pass from the final plates to Compher as he crashed the net, and he crossed Delia at 2:58 in the second.

Colorado came third in the league, but went 0 for 5.

"The murder penalty made a difference for us," Toevs said.

NOTES: Colorado D Nikita Zadorov came out with injuries to the lower body and will also miss Saturday night in Arizona. Lavina invited Anton Lindholm from Colorado Orlov from AHL.
