Again, it's a time when buyers across North America are standing in long ranks in the hope of finding rewards. Although Black Friday has become more than a week's effort to sell goods ahead of holidays, consumers will still be on the line today to find thefts and contracts on electronics, toys and other household items. But there is another popular flowing movement: buy nothing, which occurs on the same day as black Friday. The Vatican against the consumer magazine Adbusters, which launched the campaign, invites people not to be caught in consumer goods, and in some cases violence.
