It is believed that Lakers are the best Davis Superintendent, but the Pelikans take time for any job – especially one that could include Lakers.

Л.А. he already has a star on his list in LeBron James, who is also represented by the same agent as Davis – Rich Paul. Vojnarovski and Love report that Pelikans seemingly happy to wait for their next move with Davis – even when the trade deadline appears. Here's more from ESPN's story:

From now on, the Pelicans do not see any reason to give Davis to Lakers in agreement with the full season left on his contract – no matter what you do on the timeline that best suits the objectives of Los Angeles and Davis.

Nev-Orleans officials are ready to play a long game on Davis's future, embracing an unpleasant, if not a battle process that could prolong the months following a trade date for the next Thursday.

If Davis wants to be Laker, the pantalon mantra is so easy: join free LA as a free agent in 2020 and potentially strike in the 2019-20 season – when James is 35 years old – to keep the need open is the cap.

So far, Demps has been following San Antonio Spurs 'San Antonio Spurs' book with Kawhi Leonard a year ago: Accept calls and listen to the concepts and deals you are dealing with.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports that the president of Lakers, Magic Johnson and Demps, talked on Tuesday on how to continue trading talks with Davis. Johnson presented Demps with five different trading scenarios for Davis on Wednesday, Turner reports, and are waiting to hear back from Demps about what interests him most.

One of these scenarios would be Lonzo Ball, Kile Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Ivica Zubac and Selection No. 1.

The Lakers want to reach an agreement and have no plans to try to beat Boston Celtics this summer. Lakers will then seek out other free agents next to Davis, Turner reports.

It is expected that any other non-Lakers team in the NBA (or more) will inquire about landing Davis. For Celtic, many NBA insiders are thought of as a team that could fight Lakers in trading for Davis. However, Vojnarovski and Love report that Paul and Davis Camp have warned other teams that trading for Davis can only be a short-term lease.

Davis can become a free agent in the summer of 2020 and, according to ESPN, teams learn that his plan should treat every commercial destination as a one-year break – unless the Lakers team.
