Teenager, mother was injured after an attack in Scarborough



Teenagers and mother were seriously injured after an attack in the building of Scarborough building on Friday night.

The neighbors called 911 about 6 hours. after hearing an attack on a residence in Danforth and McCann Road, near Lavrence Avenue East, police officers from Toronto say.

Officers from the 43 Division found a 17-year-old girl with no vital signs and with stab wounds in the upper part of the body. According to the medical doctors, she was breathed into the SickKids hospital in a state of endangering life.

A mother believed to be in her early thirties was also taken to the Sunnibrook Center for Health Sciences with head injuries, police say. It is in a serious but non-life-threatening condition.

Investigators look for a man between 35 and 40 years old, about 5'9 ", in a white jacket and perhaps without shoes.

The last time he was seen running from the pedestrian area north along McCovan Road near Trudelle Street.

The police say it is not clear whether the victims and the suspects knew each other.
