The Ontario government has announced a cannabis regulation for retailers that will be opened in April

TORONTO – The Ontario government has announced regulations that will lead the start of private cannabis stores on April 1st.

Independent stores can be open every day between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, but they must be at least 150 meters from the school and entering the bar code of each under the age of 19 years.

A concentration limit of 75 stores per operator was set.

By April, cannabis can be legally purchased only on Ontario online cannabis stores.

Licensing applications begin on December 17, and illegal hemp sellers who served after legalization on October 17 will not be eligible to receive cannabis sales licenses.

Licenses shall not be issued to any person or organization having association with organized crime, and applicants must prove the status of their tax compliance to show that they are in good standing with the government.
