The new law thus prescribes that by 2020, it will be necessary to use only 5G, with a twelve-step rate of data transfer, which makes it easier to use the latest communication technology. 5G will have to be minimal in one big city in each EU country.
The telecommunication package includes a mandatory warning system. "If there is a call, for example a terrorist or a disaster, it must be warned by SMS or mobile applications," Thomas Haahr, who spoke to the European Parliament, said. The new warning system should be used to give sirens, which, according to experts, are not effective.
