The latest ebola epidemic in Congo lasted more than 200 lives. Half of them come from the city of Beni, the capital of the province of North Kivu, where about 800,000 people live. Referring to local authorities, the BBC Nevs server reported it.
Congo The Ministry of Health reported in a recent report that 201 people died and 291 people were infected with bleeding. So far, health workers have been able to inoculate around 25,000 people. However, weapons are hindered by work, says Health Minister Oli Ilung.
The Congo is confronted with the ebola epidemic of 16 years since 1976, but for the first time it appeared in the region that medical doctors compare to the war zone. On Friday, Ilunga said it was the worst epidemic in the history of the country. "Since coming to the region, health workers have faced threats, physical attacks, their destruction of their equipment and kidnapping," the minister said, according to which no other infection in the world was compounded as the current epidemic of Ebola in Congo.
Ebola spreads through direct contact with blood or body exudates. The virus causes fever and internal and external bleeding, and about a half of the infected go away.
