The dollar was stable against the pound in the evening trade on Monday, with 17.85 pounds for the purchase, 17.97 pounds for sale, according to the latest statistics from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The exchange rate of the US currency continued the stability in the National Bank with 17.78 pounds for the purchase and 17.88 pounds for sale, while in the Suez Canal bank it recorded 17.86 pounds for the purchase and 17.96 pounds for sale.
The dollar was also located at Bankue Misr at 17.79 pounds for the purchase, 17.89 pounds for sale, and the dollar in the Arab African bank at 17.85 pounds for the purchase and 17.95 pounds for sale.
The dollar settled at banks in Alexandria, Cairo, Credit Agricole and international trading at 17.86 pounds for the purchase and 17.96 pounds for sale.
At Al Baraka Bank, the price of the US currency amounted to 17,875 pounds for the purchase, 17.96 pounds for sale, while the dollar settled in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank at 17.89 pounds for the purchase and 17.99 pounds for sale.
The highest price of the dollar amounted to 17.89 pounds in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, while the lowest price for sale at the National Bank of Egypt at 17.88 pounds.
