Sergio Aguero will hope to continue with his impressive Manchester derby this weekend.
City hosts rivals United at Etihad and are already nine points behind Jose Mourinho's men.
In 10 matches against United, the Argentine scored six times and expected more this weekend.
Aguero again led the line for Citi this season, keeping Gabriel Jesus – although the Brazilian made a hat-trick in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Before the Etihad conflict, Aguero left all Paul Pogba and had a new trim for a special occasion.
He showed his silver and blonde cut across Instagram and thanked his stylists for a new look.
The city is a huge favorite for Etihad's conflict with linker Kevin De Bruin, who is the only player missing.
The Belgian has recently suffered a new injury injury and remains on the margins, but Vincent Kompani and Benjamin Mendi respond.
The duo left the Conflict Conflict Team, but will probably return.
It is expected that Aguero, who was not used in the Champions League, will start.
Speaking ahead of the match, city chief Guardiola insisted that a victory for his side would not push United out of the title race.
"To win or lose, they are not out of the race, in November? That's impossible," he said.
"Of course the games against the opponents are special, because if you win you do not win but we are in November and maybe a game at Old Trafford [in March] it will be more decisive.
"They showed it, they were in a difficult time, they recovered well.
"It's a big club, a great club mentality, as we arrive, we are trying to convince [the players] that club never gives up. "
