Registration on the Co-VIN2.0 portal will open today at 9 p.m. Citizens will be able to register and book an appointment for vaccination, anytime and anywhere, using the Co-VIN 2.0 portal or through other IT applications such as Arogia Setu. According to the ministry, there will be an on-site registration facility so that eligible beneficiaries can enter identified vaccination centers, register and inoculate. Eligible persons will be able to register on the Co-VIN2.0 portal via their mobile number, through a step-by-step procedure.

With one mobile phone number, a person can log in as many as four users. However, all those registered on one mobile phone number will have nothing in common except the mobile phone number, the ministry said. The photo ID number for each such user must be different. Citizens can use any of the following photo documents to use the online registration – Aadhaar card / letter, optional photo ID card (EPIC), passport, driver’s license, PAN card, NPR smart card or pension document with a photo.
