Who is involved in business, cinema, politics and sports has gathered as a witness to the return of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the formation of his new cabinet in the Rashtrapati Bhavana yard, here on Thursday.
For the oath-taking ceremony, which was held as a sunset in the capital, where the temperature was above 40 degrees, the red carpet was placed for the guests.
Modi, who led the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by BJP to the spectacular victory in the Lok Sabhi elections in 2019, President Ram Nath Kovind committed an oath and secrecy in the Hindu at a ceremony attended by some 8,000 people.
From the business world were Lakshmi Mittal, Ratan Tata, Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani with Nit and his son Anmol, T. S. Kalianaraman, Tata Group President Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Founder and Chairman Vedante Anil Agarval.
Skipper Capil Dev was also present among the guests.

Spiritual teacher Sadhguru took a prominent place at the event, attended by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and former President Pratibha Patil, along with UPA President Sonia Gandhi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Film celebrities Kangana Ranaut chose the white sar for this occasion, and veteran singer Asha Bhosle chose an elegant cream for this event. There were also Karan Johar, Rajinikanth superstar, besides Anupam Kher, Sushant Singh Rajput, Shahid Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Kapoor, Siddharth Roi Kapoor, Bonei Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rakeish Omprakash Mehra, Aanand L. Rai, Omung Kumar, Rajkumar Hirani, Kapil Sharma, Kailash KherAshoke Pandit and Mahaveer Jain – all were dressed in formal suits or simply ethnic clothes.
The Rajinikant was accompanied by his wife Latha, as well as Shahid, who came from Mira.
On the eve of the event, Anil Kapoor wrote on Instagram: "It is an honor to be one of the most important ceremonies of the year."
Director Rakeish Omprakash Mehra told IANS he was humiliated to be part of the "historic moment".
"The question is not what we expect from them. The question is what each Indians will do for their homeland, "he said.
Kangana, the day before her arrival in Delhi to be part of the ceremony, told the media: "There are many expectations about him (Modi) … So, all my best wishes for him, regardless of the goals he set for himself, he reaches all of them. "
