The 49th edition of the International Film Festival of India opens with the world premier of "Aspern Papers" in the presence of its international star actors and crew members.
Set in Venice at the end of the 19th century and based on Henry James's novel, The Aspern Papers is a story about the obsession, the size of the lost and the dream of the Bironic Adventures.

This year, in the panorama section, 15 films will be screened, representing the Oscars from the respective countries.
Every year, IFFI is characterized by a segment of the focus of the country, which brings the cinematographic excellence and contribution of a particular country. At the IFFI 2018, the focus of the country will be dedicated to Israel. Ten films were selected for this segment in cooperation with the Consulate General of Israel in Mumbai.
