Samsung SDS continues to sell its home IoT (Internet of Things) business. Jikbang real estate brokerage platform is considering a purchase. .

According to Industry 13, Samsung SDS held a briefing to brief Home IoT employees within the Solutions Department on sales details and progress. It is known that Samsung SDS plans to sell all its employees and related companies. The home IoT business is the only B2C (business-to-consumer) business run by Samsung SDS, which focuses on B2B (business-to-business) business. Smart door locks and home network equipment are its main products. Sales are still in their infancy and the exact time of sales is unknown. Samsung SDS tried to sell to a foreign security company in 2016 to focus on B2B deals, such as logistics and information technology (IT) services.

Jikbang, known as the real estate app, unveiled the rebirth plan as a comprehensive platform, including housing management, at a news conference commemorating Jikbang’s 10th anniversary in June. A Samsung SDS official said: “We held a briefing, but we cannot confirm specific details regarding the sale.”
