Tokyo state prosecutor arrested the arrest of Carlos Gosnou, head of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Automobile Manufacturers' Association for violating the Japanese Finance Law. Gosn's stock market report indicates a smaller amount of the bonus received and has used the company's assets for personal use several times.
Nissan officially announced that in a few months of internal investigations it found that another Nissan manager, Greg Kelli, is alive. All the evidence obtained is forwarded to the prosecution. Nissan also announced that a meeting of the board will be held on Thursday, in which Gosn and Kelly will be suspended.
According to local media, the GOSS has announced that it has only received 735 million yen (5.7 million euros), although it actually got a billion (7.8 million euros).
Gosn was arrested after questioning in the Prosecutor's Office in Tokyo, where he volunteered.
In parallel with the Chairman of the Council, Nissan Gosn also heads the French car Renault and is chaired by Mitsubishi Motors.
Gosn started his Michelin tire career, where he was director of the automotive and commercial tire division. In 1996 he became vice president of Renault, but after the creation of the French car union with Nissan, the president of this Japanese car manufacturer. Since 2005, Gosn has been General Manager of Renault. In turn, he became President of the Council of Mitsubishi in 2016.
