So far, the cooperation of representatives of the Latvian cultural sector with Argentina has been rather episodic – Argentine directors collaborated with the theater festival Homo Novus (Mariano Pensotti 2007), the Latvian National Opera and Ballet, performed the ballet monophonic (choreographer Maurisio Vainrots 2009), individual groups and performers participated in music and ballet festivals in Latvia. Latvian artist Kaspars Lielgalvis participated in an exhibition in Argentina in 2008.
