Photo: The first day of the Latvian Car of the Year 2019 test was launched

From 8 November to 11 November, the most important event of the Latvian Car 2019 – Big Test Drive, during which the jury, 28 automotive experts teams, evaluates the latest models of competition for 29 competitions and nominates seven finalists.

After a photograph of all the participants of the National Library Jury, on Friday, November 9, they went to the base – Hotel Laguna House on Lake Suniš in the district of Garkalna.

After the whole day of the trial, representatives of various dealers (including from Estonia) arrived with their latest model presentations, answering questions from jury members on the positioning of the model on the market and technological features.

Pauls Timrots, director: "After this day, it's clear that the car sharing service will not give up, because it's easy to set up seats, corners and radio stations in every car."

The competition will include competitions "Latvian National Car 2019": BMV KS3, Škoda Fabia, Hiundai Kona, Hiundai Kona Electric, SEAT Arona, SsangIong Rekton, Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, Nissan Leaf, Mercedes-Benz CLS, Citroen C3 Citroën, Citroen C4 Cactus, Citroen Berlingo, Jaguar E-Pace, Volksvagen T-Roc, Volksvagen Touareg, Dacia Duster, Peugeot 508, Peugeot Rifter, Subaru KSV, Kia Ceed, Kia Sportage, Lamborghini Urus, Suzuki Svift CR-V, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi K8 and Ford Focus.

The awards ceremony will be held on December 7 at the Avalon Hotel, where the winners and winners of the "Latvian National Car 2019" will be nominated for the nominations "Eco, Prize Design, Family, Sport, Small, Premium, 4K4 SUV, Off-road car 2019" and "popular sympathy of the national car in 2019".

From November 14th to December 5th, the "People's Sympathy of the Year of the Car of Latvia" will be able to vote on the Internet and on the spot at the Mols Mall. In the previous year, it received 11 355 votes.
