South Korean electronics company Samsung Electronics has introduced a switching screen that allows the smartphone to be turned into a tablet, calling the company the future of portable devices.
On Wednesday, senior vice president of San Francisco, Jastin Denison, revealed the switching prototype of the smartphone, saying the company will be ready to launch mass production of these screens in the coming months.
Denison did not provide information on when a foldable Samsung smartphone could reach the consumer.
"This screen is the spine of a tomorrow's smartphone, when it's open, it's a tablet that offers a great screen experience. When it's closed, it's a phone that can be put into your pocket," Denison said.
In the meantime, early this week, Rojole of California announced that he would offer the first commercially available smartphone in the world. The FlekPai smartphone is available for orders with a starting price of $ 1,381 (1,147 euros).
