German automotive group Volkswagen plans to buy a compact electric car to compete with an American production company for the production of electric vehicles Tesla Motors, the DPA news agency reported on Monday.
The DPA points out that this car will cost less than 20,000 euros and will be the fastest in the world in 2022.
Volkswagen has not commented on this issue yet.
Herbeth Diss, the head of the Volkswagen Group, announced in advance that she intends to fight at the Tesla competition.
