Basic steps for facial skin care in winter Life

Organic vegetable oils can create a great protective barrier for the skin

Properly selected natural and certified oils can moisturize facial skin, giving it shine and smoothness. Erika Daugelaite distinguishes three main vegetable oils for the face during the winter:

Simonds oil the chemical composition is very similar to human natural fats. This oil is best absorbed into the deep layers of the skin. Dermatologists from different countries recommend this oil because of its rich content of zinc and iron, as well as vitamins B and E, which strengthen the skin.

Argan oil suitable for dry skin, especially when you see small wrinkles. It is rich in antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E. “Fatty acids help form healthy collagen and reduce inflammatory processes in the skin,” says Erika.

Rosehip oil we can choose whether our skin is uneven, prone to peeling and itching. It is rich in vitamins A, C and omega-6 fatty acids, important for healthy skin. It should be noted that vitamin A present in this oil increases the synthesis of collagen and elastin, ensuring skin moisture, elasticity and firmness.

The woman says that the oil is best used in the evening, massaging them into moist and freshly washed facial skin. In that way, the skin will get moisture, which is especially lacking in winter, and at the same time it will be richly cared for with various vitamins and skin beneficial substances.

Dry air – dry skin

Be aware of this rule and keep in mind that when the cold weather comes, the skin is inevitably exposed to a dry and harsh climate which negatively affects the condition of the facial skin if we do not take protective measures to maintain a healthy and elastic skin condition.

According to Erika, it is very important to monitor the relative humidity in the rooms. Ideally, it would be 40 to 60 percent. in the rooms where you spend the most time. Moisturizer is a great help that allows us to maintain the desired moisture and at the same time provide a more comfortable environment for the skin.

Improper facial skin care can have consequences

If we do not pay attention to the drying of the facial skin and look at it properly with our fingers, we will definitely have negative consequences in the future.

“First of all, dehydrated skin ages faster, in the beginning small and small wrinkles appear due to lack of moisture. By including properly selected creams, serums and masks in your daily routine, wrinkles deepen, the skin becomes thinner, and the face can lose its healthy skin color and glow. Excessive use of cosmetics and water-based creams in the morning can cause capillaries to burst. “The skin can stain, and the visible red gives discomfort,” says Erika Daugelaite.
