LOS ANGELES: Jantje Friese and Baran Odar, creators of the German Dark series, set up their next project at Netflik.

The duo started working on "1899", a drama accompanying European migrants on the way to the United States, she said, fearing, Variety said. Friese and Odar entered a tram trip in June, and a new contract is based on that agreement.

The show will be accompanied by boat passengers, a mixed bag of European descent united by their hopes and strengths for the new century and their future abroad. When they discover another migrant boat in the open sea, their journey takes an unexpected turn. What they find on the boat will turn their passage into a promised land into a terrible nightmare.

"What really connects us with this idea was the concept of a real European show with mixed roles from different countries. In the heart is the question of what unites us and what divides us – and how fear can be a trigger for the latter," Fries said In a statement.
