After several weeks of numerous forum and social complaints about unsuccessful graphics cards, Nvidia admits that its GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition has a problem.
"Limited tests from early boards have led to problems that some users had with RTKS 2080 Ti founders," wrote an employee of the company in the GeForce forums. "We are ready to help every client who has problems. Please visit vvv.nvidia.com / support to chat with Nvidia tech support team (or send us an email) and we will take care of it."
Reports of Dying RTKS 2080 These units began to run in mid-October, and most of the complaints were centered on the Nvidia Founders Edition model or on other cards using a reference PCB company. Gamers Nekus asked the reader to send them dead graphics cards for testing and end up with a bundle of hardware. In its testing, it was reported that the problems with the "Blue Screen of Death" RTKS 2080 Ti were caused by incompatibility with a certain monitor, encountered a card that refuses to raise clock speeds above 1,350MHz (the RTKS 2080 Ti often falls to about 2,000MHz in games ), and was able to replicate the problem of visual artifacts.
Nvidia's message does not explicitly confirm the problem with the quality of the graphics card is, much less a cause. This suggests that this implies that Nvidia has an understanding of what's wrong, and I hope it does not mean that we will see similar issues in the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition.
