In Mexico, in 2018, 6.8% of foreign tourism grew

The number of international tourists who arrived in Mexico at the end of September amounted to 30 million 597 thousand, which is 6.8 percent more than 28 million 629 thousand registered in the same period last year, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) and historical data Banks of Mexico (BdeM).

Mexico has become the sixth most visited country in the world in 2017 with 39.3 million international tourists.

Expenses for tourism

Meanwhile, Inegi announced that it had left 420,000 million Mexican tourists in September, while in August there were one million 749,000 people. Costs generated by Mexicans who traveled abroad in September, both tourists and hikers, amounted to $ 834.4 million.
