The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and Huawei Technologies recently launched the "Huawei Seeds for the future 2018" program. to promote the excellence of ICT training at Moroccan universities.
This program, which is part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding concluded between the two parties on September 20, aims to promote the excellence of ICT training at Moroccan universities and facilitate the employment of young graduates, the ministry said in a statement published on Thursday on MAP.
According to the same source, this program consists of selecting a group among the best students from Moroccan public universities to make a two-week training for China.
Indeed, the selected students will spend a week in the flood and discover a rich Chinese culture at the Beijing Geoscience University and then visit the city of Shenzhen, where Huawei Group is headquartered. advanced training on advanced technologies such as 5G, LTE and Cloud Computing, which also provides the opportunity to learn about the experience in the most advanced Huawei laboratories.
Speaking on this occasion, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sa'am Amzazi, congratulated Huawei Technologies on its commitment and its valuable contribution, and prevailing in the implementation of a co-operation program that unites two parties and reflects the will of the strategic a partnership expressed by King Mohamed VI and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of China to Morocco, Li Li, called for strengthening relations between the two countries, especially in the field of education, teaching and research, areas that "will continue to promote in the future as part of the cooperation between the two countries."
For his part, Huawei Moroccan Executive Director, Zhao Guohui, said: Education and training is a strategic pillar in Huawei's company commitments.
So, in order to help bridge the gap between what is learned in class and what is needed in the industry, Huawei has developed a "Seed for the Future" program, which aims to develop Moroccan ICT skills at universities, transfer knowledge and promote better understanding ICT sector.
"We hope through this program, we will join the Kingdom of Morocco to promote the development and improvement of the education system to meet the needs of the socio-economic environment, facilitate the employment of young graduates and contribute to supporting national ICT structural projects," he added.
