Cove 19 Delta Outbreak: KFC is giving away free food to those who are being vaccinated

Vaccinations used to come with a sweet lollipop prize at the end, but the Covid-19 sting doesn’t have such a reward.

That will soon change, and KFC has announced that it is sharing some goodies with those who decide to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

On Wednesday, KFC will support the “90 percent project” by providing free popcorn in an attempt to encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated to do so.

Two regions a day across the country will be able to buy their popcorn with chicken if they show a vaccination card or sticker at a KFC store or while driving.

Bay of Plenty will be the first to be awarded for vaccination when the KFC initiative expands in the region tomorrow.

Each region will have two separate days in the next two weeks to submit the incentive for vaccination.

The order of each region will be published on the KFC website at 2 pm, or on ZM and Flavina Craving Wack Facts, available on their website.

“We are delighted with the partnership with KFC in this initiative. Young people are an important part of the road to vaccination in 90 percent of New Zealand, so ZM and Flava help them better understand the decision by talking to experts and sources of young Kiwis’ trust, and, ”says Paul Hancock, Chief Revenue Officer, NZME.

The move comes after numerous incentives were given to those who are vaccinated at the Vodafone Events Center in Manukau.

Those who had not yet been vaccinated received food vouchers or petrol or KFC if they came and were vaccinated.

The assistant coach of the Samoan women’s rugby team said that there was criticism in terms of offering incentives for getting stabs, but the approach works.

“The incentive is if they come for KFC or come for groceries or vouchers for gasoline, whatever it is, they get vaccinated for good purposes and that’s great, so come on.

“It’s the way we host as Pacific Islanders, we do it with food and we do it with gifts, so why not this way, and it works.”

Christchurch also runs a number of initiatives to vaccinate its population.

Free pizza is offered at the Christchurch store for anyone who has had the Covid-19 vaccine at least once.

The offer will be available at the Spagalimis pizzeria on Salisburi St this Saturday between 11am and 4pm.

Patrons will have to buy half a liter of beer, a glass of wine or a moktail and will receive a six-piece pizza for free.

It is part of a multi-agency campaign aimed at making Canterbury the most protected region in the country.

His goal is for 90 percent of the population to have at least one dose of the vaccine by Labor Weekend.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern also announced a television “waxathon” for this Saturday, which she hopes will break daily records in giving Kiwi a hit.
