Itaipu supports a campaign against prostate cancer

Itaipu Binacional is painted in blue in the campaign against prostate cancer that will be held in November.
The Department of Labor Medicine supports the awareness of the importance of annual controls for early detection of the disease.
Felic Ortiz, head of the sector, explained that although the disease can not be prevented, its early detection facilitates successful treatment. The professional commented on the study of prostate specific antigen (PSA) in the blood, which is an effective way of detecting prostate cancer.
From this Friday and throughout the month, Itaipu's lights will be blue. Those who want to appreciate the light emission must be registered in advance at the Visitor Reception Center, located in Hernandarias. Days are enabled on Fridays and Saturdays.
