The incidence of influenza and ARVI in Ukraine is 359.7 per 100 thousand people, which is 30.7% less than the epidemic threshold in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Health's press service.
"The incidence of influenza and ARVI in Ukraine is at a non-epidemic level … During the reporting week (November 5-11-11), 151,852 people were affected by influenza and ARVI, 68.4% of whom were under the age of 17. Compared to the previous Seventh, the rate of incidence in adults and children under 17 years of age was slightly increased – by 1.0% and 4.0%, respectively, according to the message.
Now in Ukraine, doctors note the absence of geographic spread of influenza and ARVI and low intensity of epidemic activity, without overcoming epidemic thresholds. No flu death reported.
According to a report on the control of sinjal, 34 cases of flu-like illness and 22 cases of severe acute respiratory infection were registered on Sunday, but no laboratory confirmation of the presence of the influenza virus was received.
