On the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Patriarch Pavle, a monument to the former head of the Serbian Orthodox Church will be revealed on Thursday.
The monument will be unveiled at the plateau in front of St. Mark's Church, and at the initiative of the City of Belgrade and with the blessing of the Serbian patriarch Irinej, the Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, announced on his Fejsbuka, Tanjug reports.
The monument is the work of sculptor Zoran Males.
Nine years ago, November 15, Patriarch Pavle passed away in Belgrade in the year 95.
The supreme head of the Serbian Orthodox Church was from 1990 to 2009.
