In Samson's Quality Testing Laboratory, located at the company's headquarters in South Korea, there is a robot that is used to test the durability of a smartphone, and is actually a robot donkey.
Samsung always wants its devices to be as good, durable and continue to work properly after drops and other impacts fall. Quality tests are numerous, and one of them implies a robotic buttock that descends onto the devices.
This concept may be ridiculous for some, but it actually shows the company's determination to test its devices in real situations and situations.
The laboratory also performs a number of other tests, from testing sounds and signals, through falls, thermal testing to the use of smartphones in simulated extreme weather conditions.
