SINGAPORE – Drivers traveling in several parts of the country will not have to pay electronic travel prices (ERP) by the end of the year at a certain time.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced on Monday (November 12th) that changes to the ERP rate from Saturday will come as a result of the review of rates for school holidays in December.

There will be no ERP reimbursement on the Western Pan-Icelandic Highway (PIE) before Eunos Link, Dunearn, Kallang, Kalang-Bahru and Geilang Bahru and Upper Bukit Timah Road throughout the day.

Drivers traveling along Aier Rajah Ekpressvai (AIE) will not pay ERP costs when they go under a set of three gangeries after the Jurong City Town to the city, between 7:00 and 7:30.

Those traveling along the Bukit Timah Highway (BKE) before PIE between 7.30 and 8.00, as well as those on the Southern Central Expressway (CTE) before Braddell Road between 7.00 and 7.30, will also not have to pay any fees.

A set of four gantries on the southern CTE after Braddell Road and the PIE slip road in Southern CTE will be reduced by $ 1 at certain times. Drivers going through them will have to pay $ 1 between 7:00 and 7:30, $ 2 between 7.30 and 8.00, and $ 3 between 8.00 and 8.30.

Two portals along the East Coast Parkvai (Citi) and Kallang-Paia Lebar Expressway (ECP) platforms at ECP will also have a $ 1 downturn for certain times. Drivers who travel through them between 8.30am and 9.00pm must pay only 1 dollar, while travelers traveling between 8.30 and 8.30 will not have to pay a fee.

Ports on the eastern ECP before the KPE will have a reduced rate of $ 3 to $ 2 between 18:30 and 19:00. From 19 to 19.30, there will be no charge on this port.

The four promenades along the coastal Marine Highway (MCE) also had rates reduced by $ 1 a certain time.

Two of them, located in the western MCE before going to Makvell Road and on a slippery road to Marina Coastal Drive, will not be charged between 7.30am and 8.00pm and will be charged for $ 1 between 8.00 and 9.00.

The ERP set on the KPE for ECP after Defu Fliover will have a reduced price of $ 1 from 7 to 8 hours, and from 9 to 9 hours.

Two boxes along the PIE in the direction of Kallang Bahru will not be charged between 7.30am and 8.00pm and a reduced charge of $ 0.50 between 8.30am and 9.00pm.

Two more guarantees along the route Bendemeer Road and Voodsville Tunnel will not have any fees between 7.30 and 8.30, and 9.00 and 9.30.

Between 8.30 and 9.00, drivers traveling through these walkways will pay a reduced fee of $ 0.50.

Finally, drivers traveling along Thomson Road will not have to pay ERP costs between 7.30 and 8.00, and from 9.00 to 9.30. Soon, the ERP fee of $ 1 will be cut between 8:00 and 9:00 this time.

Rates for other gantries will remain unchanged.

As the 1st of January is the next public holiday, the ERP rates will return to the level before the assessment from January 2 onwards.

The next review of the ERP rate will be held in February.
