Xiaomi managed to become the second in the world in terms of smartphone sales, according to Canalis. The second quarter of this year brought with it a little disappointment for Apple, which is becoming the third world number. Samsung still holds the leading position.
Canalis researcher Ben Stanton explains that Xiaomi is starting to thrive in overseas markets. In Latin America alone, sales increased by three hundred percent, in Africa by one hundred and fifty and by fifty in Western Europe.
“And as a company grows, it develops. Compared to Samsung and Apple, its average selling price is about 40 and 75 percent lower, respectively. Therefore, Xiaomi’s top priority this year is to increase sales of its state-of-the-art equipment, such as the Mi 11 Ultra. “
