Red Dead Redemption 2

[ad_1]

Rockstar Games has a bar several times to appear as just rock stars, and rightly so. They have repeatedly shown their ability to create games that contain everything from launching stories with interesting characters to an open world that offer pure research. The fact that the budget of the latest games in their "portfolios" in many cases exceeds the largest Hollywood films, is simply not surprising, and Red Dead Redemption 2 seems to be no exception, but the contrary.

A well planned and minute detailed introduction, slowly and surely, the player crashes into a complex game mechanics, and a reliable story "Van der Lind Time" is so masterful way to start a story as it is a solid, attentive and educational game design. At the end of this so-called. Prologa, the great world of the game is presented in its entirety. Contrary to the somewhat limited surface of the "prologue", it not only feels great, but also attracts its beautiful views on the research.

Easily composed characters such as John Marston, Susan Grimshav, Lenny Summers and Hose Mathews not only communicate with each other and the main character of the game (Arthur Morgan) in film sequences or in connection with events related to the story. No response to the actions, in the Arthur style of dressing, even on Arthur's well-being. Many because the responsibility of the player is to take care of such guides when it comes to the main character. If he hits a clay barrel, dirty, rides the earth, and rich grows hair, chin and eats, it does not become thin and clumsy in many ways. This kind of detail is far from here, but finding such thoughts in the game itself is a big part of the joy of playing games like Red Dead Redemption 2. So I will try to be modest with such curiosity.

Something else that active nails and characters and animals in the world is how they interact with the environment. Just the thought of an artistic and technical constraction that must be beyond the mere details of how the sludge behaves when the foot or the paws are marked in it, how the snow paths form when Arthur and his gang pulsate through it or how the rain, fur and So, in short, it takes away breath. As if this is not enough, the characters communicate with each type of object in a way that I have never witnessed before. In short, it seems realistic when it comes to the sign of a grain of grain or puts the gun on the podium again. No punching, no movement of feathers, no weight in every movement and fixed limits for where the hand on the character ends and the object begins.

With such a large, comprehensive and well-integrated world, of course, it can be expected to have more than a few of the main tasks that it focuses on. Of course, Rockstar Games surpasses my expectations in so many ways that I do not even know where to start. But I still think that the possibility of hunting animals is one of the best starting points. Not because the possibility of animal hunting is something new in the game world, but because hunting in Red Dead Redemption 2 can mean much more than shooting an animal and using parts of the body for cooking. Here hunting can also include animal skin to upgrade horn equipment to create useful items and exclusive fur for selling or sewing clothes. This can mean long journeys on cold mountain peaks that require warm clothes, which can mean different rewards depending on how the hunt goes. Recording of the first best bear does not necessarily give qualitative coat, just as the rifle can not be given as well-knit as a pair of well-placed arrows.

As if that was not enough, players could store clothes, weapons and ammunition somewhere like meat, fur and horns. All this does not fit Arthur's pocket. And if the horse did not take Arthur to the hunting area, he probably came to the picture here. The western game was not, of course, a western game, but the ability to ride a horse, and the horse in Red Dead 2 is much more than a way of traveling, that is, walking luggage and, in many cases, the best friend of Arthur.

To get as much of my horse as possible, it's important to create a strong relationship with her. First, take care of it, clean it and store it. But even overlapping or calming after a hot sprint from a bandit bandit. Managing your horse is rewarded with a traveling companion who works faster, is more persistent, easier to maneuver, and sustains more effort when the bullet wins. There are several different types of horses to choose from, some can be found in the wild and can be tackled, while others can be bought in different cities. Everyone with different potentials in terms of endurance, speed, etc.

However, the horse is not the only way to travel. You can also drive a train, one of the many horse-drawn lifts in cities or on foot. There are many choices and the more opportunities are open. However, there is no offer to clean the "teleporting" that is usually found in other large open world games, which may look good and bad at the same time. On the one hand, it may be frustrating to move between wildlife and city life when you want to sell from new yacht exchanges. On the other hand, the game does not always break the illusion of time and space. Something I personally appreciate, especially when game is not the only thing that can lead time between the main tasks.

During each trip, no matter which route, it's always something exciting on the road. If it's not the legendary los that attracts, it might be an alien who needs help with his horse, or a bunch of bandits trying to rob. Alternatively, a snake ejects from the woods and demands antidotes, or the most disadvantaged lanterns are inviting foreigners to dinner. It can also happen that travel companions from "Van der Lind weather" have gone through a chat, or that wild parties offer Arthur to buy secrets of treasures. Or so … Yes, as you can understand, there is a very long list of things that can happen on the way between all the places you want to visit in the wild. And believe me, this is just a part of all the exciting things that can happen at every departure in the huge world offered in Red Dead 2. Not to mention all the crazy combinations, all of these events can result.

The game takes time, but the time it takes to do what it wants to be is essentially every circumstance worth every second. Not at the very least, when you combine everything in one wonderful touch, it combines with the lovely accompanying western inspired music pieces, a piece of horse claws on the terrain and a crop of still undiscovered bird species. Still, sometimes you can feel a frustrating pace. At least in the more stressful and action areas, where you sometimes want not to take enough time to pick up divergent weapons that lie on the ground. Or that the body that needs to be moved well should not be difficult to lift. Although the pace in most cases adds a perfectly perfect atmosphere.

With what has already been said, you may think that you probably should not speak anymore, but it really exists. The last thing I would like to mention is the control of the game, because it's too … much, good and bad. Each selection is done by pressing the hot keys or buttons that require you to hold the same button for a long time. This layout allows the same button a few different functions, and some actions tend to be "wrong". Combine this with another layer of functions on the same button based on whether the right shoulder button is pressed, we have a rather complex control schedule that takes a long time to learn. Something that might be inevitable in this great game, but the real appeal I have is one of the total of two complaints I have. Despite this, there are bright spots even when it comes to controlling schedule. Many and sharp layers of control leave room for some simple quick features. For example, the ability to adjust the size of the folder without having to enter any menu or the possibility of switching to the perspective of the first person simply by pressing the button, just to specify a few.

In concluding this review, I just want to say that there is no doubt that this game is worth its time. The game does not possess any missed opportunity, providing everything from a vast open world to tiny subtle details in the story and surrounding. I have never played a game that has as much and a high quality as Red Dead Redemption 2. I will undoubtedly hesitate to spend as much time as I can only in the wild western region by the end of 2018.
