Veslei Sneijder, a Qatar Al Gharafa player, was angry after being sent to Qatar in the 12th round of the Qatari League.
"This is my last day in Qatar," he said as he left the pitch for the player's entry.
The last moments of the meeting, Sneijder was sent for his red card right after the joint goal with Qatar goalkeeper Jassim Al Hill.
Sneijder did not even accept the referee's decision, and he left the stadium and threw the captain's badge on the ground.
Al Gharafa announced that he had made a formal protest with the Football Association because of the expulsion of the Dutch star.
The match ended with a 2-0 victory against Al Gharafa in the 47th minute and 83 minutes.
