The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to allocate land in the territory of the exclusion zone in Chernobyl for the construction of the first power plant in the wind, said Ostap Semerak, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
This is reported by the Media Service of the Ministry of Environment.
In particular, the government's decision relates to a permit to develop a land management project at several locations in Ivankovsky district of Kiev, with a total area of 7 hectares for housing, construction and operation of facilities and facilities of wind farms.
"This is not only good news for potential investors, but also the continuation of our policy to increase the share of alternative energy in the country's total energy balance. It is important for the Ministry of Environment that renewable energy facilities do not require a permanent presence of people and are absolutely safe for the environment" Seven
Let's remind that the first solar power plant was launched in the Chernobyl zone.
