Jaguar has developed a pair of F-Tipe Convertible Ralli cars to celebrate 70 years of its sporty heritage. In particular, they give the air to the first sports car Jaguar, KSK120 introduced in 1948. We will just ignore the SS-100 launched last decade by SS Cars, the company that was renamed Jaguar in 1945.
Modern F-Type rally cars were introduced on Monday, but they were already excited by the rage. Cars recently walked past Valters Arena in the south of Wales, and in the coming months will attend numerous events planned at Jaguar.
The cars are said to meet unspecified FIA driving homologation rules and come with the F-Tip's initial engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharger inline-4 that generates a maximum of 300 hp.
Cars have an upgrade to brakes, suspension and propulsion drives, including manual exhaust shafts and softer spring to ensure they can face the penalty area. For example, three-way adjustable shock absorbers allow their adjustment to different surfaces. The limited slip differential also improves energy delivery on free surfaces, while the hydraulic handbrake with carbon fiber reception helps drivers face the curves.
Of course, a number of security modes are added. This includes the six-speed FIA six-seater racing seats, plus a cage roller, a fire extinguisher and a hood mounted on the hood.
Interestingly, the KSK120 is that cars at F-Tipe celebrate the successes achieved at various gatherings. These included early events such as RAC, Tulip and Alpine rallies. It's still not a question of whether the F-Type Rally car will ever be built to compete.
