Genshin Impact is coming to PS5 this spring

Genshin Impact

miHoIo will release the original PlayStation 5 version of the free open world action RPG Genshin Impact this spring, the developer announced.

The PlayStation 5 version will have higher image quality, performance and further development, including upgraded textures in all parts of the game, support for 4K resolution and faster loading times that will allow players to enjoy an easier experience while traveling between-game environments.

“The PlayStation 5 is the ideal platform to enhance the vast open world in which they appear Genshin Impact, enabling the team to incorporate more thoughts and ideas into the game, both now and in the future, “said miholo President Forrest Liu in a press release. “That’s why we’re working to give our players the native version of the PlayStation 5 as soon as possible.”

Genshin Impact is now available for PlayStation 4, PC, iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play. A version of the Switch is also planned.
