Baker Mayfield summed up his view that Odell Beckham Jr. joined Jarvis Landry in the attack on Cleveland Brovns in this way: Let him break it.

"You could say the same for me, you do not want to tame him," says Brovns told reporters at the Milwaukee Brevers Shelter in Phoenik.

"Just let them be themselves and the right games. That's what they are, and when it comes to that, guys in that dressing room, you will love to play with them."

Maifield was on Brevers' spring training camp because he is friends with outfielder Christian Ielich. His comments were the first since Brovnys bought Beckham and the defensive end of Olivier Vernon in a trade with Giants earlier this week.

Mayfield's attitude was his mantra since joining Brown and was part of the reason he set the 2017 record with 27 touchdowns in 2017. His comments came in response to the question of whether Beckham and Landry are great personalities, and perhaps with them . he should just let him go.

"I know Sakuon [Barkley] and Sterling Shepard [of the Giants]with whom I am very close, I know exactly who OBJ is inside the dressing room and who is his teammates, Mayfield said. That's the most important thing. People can have their attitude and perspective on it, but he is him and he has his own teammates back.

Mayfield called the potentially exciting Brovns and said the attack by the team would be "a matter of choosing your poison" with regard to the available talent, which also includes running back Nick Chubb and turning on Kareem Hunt after making a suspension of eight games.

"It's an exciting time in Cleveland, absolutely," Mayfield said. "The fans there, after having had a decent year, nothing of which we were happy [7-8-1], they were incredibly pleased. But now, I can not even imagine.

"I have not returned yet, so it will be really exciting to come back."
