The last blue month of decade is growing on Saturday night

An unusual full moon will fill the sky on Saturday night – the type of month that will not grow again until 2021.

Many people know the term "blue month" and know it as the second full moon in a calendar month. However, there is another way for a full month to earn this famous nickname.

"One season – winter, spring, autumn, summer – usually has three full months. If the season has four full moons, then the third full moon in the season can be called the Blue Moon, "he explained on his old Farm website.

A full moon this weekend will be the third of four this spring, making it the month of blue. The first full month of spring fell on March 20, 2019 at 21:43. EDT, less than four hours after the official launch of the spring.

Seasonal blue months are not particularly rare, occurring once in two or three years. The next seasonal blue month falls on August 22, 2021.

Do the full moons and supermodels really affect people and animals?

Many people across the United States who come out on Saturday night can look to see the sky filled with clouds, not the blue month.

A powerful system in the then central United States will spread clouds in much of the region, stretching from the coast of the Gulf of Mexico to the western Great Lakes and west to the Rocky Mountains.

In the meantime, an out-of-season storm moving from the Pacific Ocean will spread clouds across most of the western US.

The best viewing conditions can end up in the east of the United States, but clouds and dirty slopes can still hinder viewing in parts of the mid-Atlantic and deep south.

A full moon this weekend can be called a few more nicknames next to the blue month.

"May full moon marked the time of increasing fertility, with warm enough temperatures for safe carrying of young people, close to the end of late frosts, and blooming of plants," reports the Old Farmer.

For this reason, Moon's moon is known as Hare Moon, Flower Moon, Milky Moon, and Buding Moon.

Despite his nicknames, the Moon on Saturday night will appear as the other full months of the year.
