Mexicans are the most wanted Internet disease by Mexicans in 2018, according to a report by the Doctoralia digital platform linking patients with health workers.

In a statement, Ricardo Moguel, Platform Manager in Mexico, said that after the apendicitis, human papillomavirus (HPV) and amebibia or amoebiasis were followed in the first places of search.

Infection of the bowel is an acute inflammatory bowel disease that can not be prevented, and as a result, it is one of the most common emergency cases in the stomach in surgical care.

Dr. Gabriela Herrera said that the risk of suffering in the general population is between 7 and 12 percent, which is more often between 20 and 30 years.

The second place on the list was a human papillomavirus, one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases, according to the platform's data, in 2018. Mexicans have shown a growing interest in the disease, which rose by four rankings after taking the sixth place in 2017.

Ameebiasis or intestinal amoebias took third place. It is an intestinal inflammation caused by ameboid and is usually associated with other diseases such as colitis or chronic diarrhea; in 2017 it was the most wanted situation, so it fell into two places.

In the top 10 most common diseases, there are also: inguinal hernia, hypertension, diabetes, hemorrhoids, cystitis, HIV infection and fatty liver.
