“Life is short, let’s go crazy”: Brazilian influencer posts her last post on Instagram before she died in a motorcycle accident

The young woman was transferred by helicopter to a hospital in the nearby town of Parana, but soon died of sudden cardiac arrest.

Julia Hennessy Caiuela, a Brazilian ‘influencer’ with more than 334,000 followers on Instagram, died on July 15 at the age of 22, after she and her husband Daniel Caiuela were involved in a motorcycle accident on the outskirts of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

Shortly before the accident, Julia posted her last post on a well-known social network, where the couple is seen posing with helmets and motorcycle suits in front of a large yellow sign in the city of Capao Bonito.

“Life is short, let’s be crazy: me, you, God and the way. Your dreams are mine,” Julia wrote, marking the account of her husband, who has more than 110,000 followers.

According to the Brazilian media O Tempo, the influencer was transferred by helicopter to a hospital in the nearby town of Parana in critical condition, but he soon died due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Daniel Caiuela was also seriously injured and had to undergo shoulder surgery, but he survived and is in intensive care.

The Federal Highway Police in Parana and Ecovia reported that the couple collided with the side of a truck on kilometer 56 of the BR-277 highway in Sao Jose dos Pinhais.

Julia was buried on July 17 in the city of Belo Horizonte, in the couple’s home country, Minas Gerais. Hundreds of supporters and loved ones attended his funeral procession.
