Can we just agree to stop hating on Facebook?

As for the shattered years, you really will not be worse than the crypto currency in 2018. Loss of more than 80% of your market capitalization in 12 months is kind of rough. But you know who also had a difficult period? Facebook. Last year there was a series of migrants for Mark Zuckerberg who saw $ 19 billion shaved his wealth.

However, he is still there with the richest in the world, but (they are ready for the violin) he lost more than all 500 best billionaires on the list.

Zuckerberg has not only lost its net worth. He also lost credibility, trust, and a few of his closest executives. His company also became public enemy number one after jumping from one scandal to another.

From the sale of data to leak, Mark has recently had a dangerous ride. But is it time to say enough? Are we ready to stop hating on Facebook?

Facebook is far from working alone with fake customers

Of course, Facebook may have sold your data, maybe Mark even knew what the disadvantageous institutions were doing with it, but you know what? Wake up.

If you think that Zuckerberg is the only successful businessman who pervades the mistakes of his clients, you are wet around your ears.

Citigroup and JPMorgan not only funded Enron (then the largest corporate bankruptcy in US history), but even helped the company to make transactions to change their finances.

We will not even start with the evil FMCG giants like Nestlé that destroys the lives of people in developing countries around the world or sell misleading products. Or Gap, H & M, Urban Outfitters, and even Apple, using children's work to compose their products.

Facebook may sell your data, but at least it does not send children to coal mines or consciously starved people.

Let's talk about Cambridge Analytics

This weekend marks one year from the scandal sent by the social media giant to the tail. And it seems that, a year later, Facebook still needs Tilenol.

This week began with the company "mistakenly" removing ads that were critical to him. And he ended with the possible longest interruption in his history.

Oh, and leaving a few more bosses, another drop in stock and a criminal investigation into how Facebook shares data. Jeez. It simply will not interrupt the company.

This Facebook shit does not stop in the near future and everything started with the Cambridge Analytics scandal.

However, the British political consulting firm, hired by Trump, abused Facebook accounts. Not Facebook alone.

Did Facebook know that it would target specific people and try to influence the results of the election? Probably. But is not it a candidate in any election campaign? Massage campaigns, spreading dirt to your opponent, making false promises and false claims?

Maybe she used to be on the billboard. Now it's on social media. But if you are one of the blind sheep enough naive to believe in the promises of an unnamed candidate, do not blame Facebook.

Hatred on Facebook for possible engagement of Russia in elections just makes you look bad.

But then, it's not Central America that makes a scapegoat out of Facebook, is it? The Cambridge Scandal Fury Scandal is less about US elections than about turning people against Facebook.

Facebook sells our data

Shit, I was just choking on coffee! Facebook sells our data! Excuse me, was this a surprise to someone else? I did not realize that these were actually news.

Are Facebook users seriously trying to say they never noticed how advertising coincided with their age group and other key demographic data? Or how were they constantly running to fill the filled profile?

Selling data on Facebook to give us a more relevant user experience (and making a profit) is a fairly just compromise for the years of using a free tool that allows us to manage our social life around the world.

Facebook (before we started to hate it) reunited after years of search or silence. This allowed traveling nomads like me to stay in touch with related spirits that I never wanted to lose.

Best of all, it did not even make us compile an email. We just had to send them a birthday greeting or post. Genius.

Facebook was a revolution of my generation. It was Web 2.0, the first platform that really made the Internet interactive and enabled people to have identity on the web, form groups with similar interests, and even circumvent the cost of launching a website for their business. Instead, they could launch a free Facebook page.

All this and more … However, people are really angry that the company is trying to make a profit?

Wake up and smell bacon. The only thing that Facebook is guilty of (along with the slider of other free content platforms) is the right to breed.

Internet users who hate on Facebook are right

Now we are fully accustomed to free access to information. Most teens, and even those in the early twenties, will not remember the days when you had to buy newspapers to get access to information.

Facebook and other pioneering Internet companies such as Twitter, WordPress and Medium have helped my profession to be completely devalued.

No one wants to pay for content anymore. We expect to get everything for free. We are a generation after generation of rights.

I had to face the fall in my prices, and work harder and longer with less money. Still, you do not see my hands folded around the villa, searching for blood. It's a free market for you, honey.

If you do not pay for a product, you are a product

There is no free lunch. If you were too stupid to realize that if you do not pay for a product then you are a product, go back to your ivory tower.

As long as Facebook does not exhaust my bank account, I could not worry honestly about what they are doing with my terrestrial and insensitive data.

However, shitcoin after shitcoin appeared on the radar of the company forced them to try to issue their own coin, which would be praised and criticized.

There is something a bit scary about looking at Facebook in the world of crypto currents and launching a token into a system that works perfectly without it. But hey, it's a little early to send a lynch mob to that.

As for company's progress in detecting pornography AI, at this moment I have no comment. I certainly will not put my bare photos in the company, but let's cross the bridge loaded with explosives when we get to it.

So far, can we stop grabbing each ejection of data, any employee dismissal, any disclosure of what Zuckerberg is doing with our data and just agreeing to stop hating on Facebook?
